To be completely honest, I can think of a few films many consider mind-blowing on a few levels that have come out recently, not just Inception. Avatar's up there to many too. Nolan is going to go heavy sci-fi at some point, and when that happens, I have a strong feeling our minds will cease to exist...

The problem with IGN is they tend to cover strictly comic book/sci-fi/fantasy based films.

Their reviews tend to be a bit shit too. They seem to evaluate them on a geek level, rather than a cinephile one.
