Re: Benny Safdie as Edward Teller
Here's hope that Benny will give Chris some precious advices about how to work with characters properly, considering he (and his brother) has made some of the best art-house character-oriented flicks out there

Re: Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock
Fuckin yeah!!! Florence rocks so hard, she made it to our Genius's flick. But seriously guys, I grew up to be such a fun of this cutie (not Nolan - Flo), that I'm super happy and excited for the news. Its a real joy. I hope Chris works with Anya someday as well. My life would be complete then. Hope...

THIS. This. This. This.Pratham wrote:I wonder if he would like to make a film based on Jules Verne novels.
Anything from the classic, not just Jules.
I just rewatched Interstellar, and I wonder if Nolan himself anknowledges how great he captures this dusty, old, classic atmosphere.

I'm amazed how male-centric this thread has become.

Re: Insomnia - Nolan's Most Underrated Film - YouTube
Nolan received a lot of help while making this movie, and that's the reason why you don't actually see his style there yet. But it's still a great film. A good detective, which I quite enjoy, though I didn't watch it so many times.

Re: Nolan's next film after Dunkirk
Hopefully a thriller of some sort. I'm still okay with Bond, but I think Mendes beat him to it. What about a horror/thriller like The Shining? Too dark? How would he utilize IMAX? I always think he'll only go for projects in which he can use IMAX to heighten the visual storytelling and spectacle. I...

Re: Free Extra Ticket To Dunkirk: Seattle / July 21st / Cine
It was meh as a Nolan film, and I sincerely believe that most of the people who'll love it do not fully appreciate what his previous films were about. Including almost all the critics. It's not "a new Nolan", it's just a lower quality Nolan. But it's not a thread about opinions, so I'll stop it now....

Re: Harry Styles joins the cast of 'Dunkirk'
Just want to say to the Styles fans who have joined this forum...your guy did a very good job in this movie. Nolan wasn't lying and the critics weren't lying either. Harry earned his seat at the table as Nolan said. Sorry, but I'll disagree with that. The number of close-up shots and the distance h...

You are prepared to this knowing the nature of the film. Nothings beats off Mann's death/Endurance's explosion in Interstellar.Hustler wrote:I fucking jumped when
