Oh! A GREAT cost-effective camera is the T2i! It's pretty cheap for such great resolution, 24p and VERY creamy bokeh/DOF. You definitely should look into it: You won't get "creamy" shallow depth of field with the lens that comes with the T2i. You need at least a 2.8 to get what you're referencing. ...
