I've always preferred Alien over Aliens. I thoroughly enjoy though Aliens, it's massively entertaining. But Alien is a sci-fi masterpiece.

The Hobbit is the one I'm most antcipating in 2012 just after The Dark Knight Rises.

My only fear is that it won't live up to The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I think Peter Jackson said in an interview that there was a tone shift in The Hobbit. That he wanted more comedic moments.

An incredible performance by James Franco. It's surprising how a film about a man stuck in a hole for 3/4 of a film is this engaging. Plus I love the Danny Boyle touch that he gives, he's a brilliant director.
