One Rule
I know it's been discussed but with regards with Ra's, isn't NOT saving a person from death the same as killing them? In the real world, wouldn't you still be brought to court?

Michael Caine as Alfred
Have you guys considered the possibility of Alfred "quitting" his job, then coming back? “You’re as precious to me as you were to you’re own mother and father” “I swore to them that I would protect you…” “…but I haven’t” " i havent" is not the same as "i cant, anymore" so, no....it sounds like Alfr...

Teaser & prologue highlight one jarring problem about TDKR
Bad audio mixing!? Nonsense Eames! I could make out almost every Bane line in the bootleg versions of the prologue. Not really an issue unless your local cinema has a crap speaker system. You are aware that those are bootlegs and the audio is bad in any case, right? There's the thing about ...

Teaser & prologue highlight one jarring problem about TDKR
Did I mention anything about the audio in the trailer?steveportee wrote:Not at all actually. It's stupid to judge the audio based on a poor quality leaked trailer.Mason wrote:Steve will enjoy this thread.
Although, Bane's dialogue in the prologue could use some tweaking. :modesty:
Stupid response.

[SPOILERS] TDKR 6-minute IMAX prologue
The prologue was released in HD for the first time with the Batman Begins Blu-ray. I would know- I payed $400 for a Blu-ray player for the sole reason of watching the prologue properly. Man, I'm serious, I am fucking sure that it was released (not in HD) nearer the release of the film through...

Teaser & prologue highlight one jarring problem about TDKR
Hey, I exaggerated for effect but still, I did find it hard to make out the audio in the teaser and the prologue. Don't get me wrong, I love Nolan and his films as much as the next guy, but based on the footage we have seen, I am indeed worried about the audio mixing we've seen. With regards to the ...

Teaser & prologue highlight one jarring problem about TDKR
We know Nolan was inspired by Michael Mann when shooting TDK but has he gone a little too far with his tribute to Michael Mann by intentionally having bad audio mixing in The Dark Knight Rises.
Some of the dialogue by Gordon (teaser) and Bane (prologue) are incredibly hard to hear.

Have to say, in the little bit of the trailer we saw of her, she looks hot as hell!

Prologue, Trailer or Teaser?
Teaser was very good - sparked interest & raised the right questions Prologue was decent - thought I've seen similar extraction scene in The Dark Knight and Inception and both scenes were better IMHO, Bane's reveal was cool but the action? Not so much. Trailer was batshit awesome. We saw and heard f...

Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Don't think Bale has been in that many pictures. We haven't even seen him in anything this year (if memory serves)! Take DiCaprio who has three-four projects lined up by the time he's finished with one film. Now there's fatigue!
