Re: World War Z 2 (2019)
That's one of the last things I expected. I was t crazy about the idea at first but I would like to see Fincher try another big budget film, he hasn't done one since his failure with A3 which was forever ago and wasn't even his damn fault. Definitely will be better than the first one. Just wondering...

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) DEUX YOU BLEED
It's a bit for the sake of publicity, since there were many other blockbusters that were received more poorly than BvS. Huntsman, Ben-Hur, Assassin or Warcraft. They just wanted the biggest fish. Not that I think very highly of this film, but one of the worst films of the year, it most certainly wa...

Re: Star Wars Universe Discussion Thread
The deliberate withholding of information, with the promise that tune into the sequels to find out stuff! Yeah that annoyed me too, I really don't like the way it ended. That said, somebody could easily argue Empire did the same thing and few hold it against it. I also really can't stand the way it...

Re: Star Wars Universe Discussion Thread
TFA was no masterpiece, and as time has gone on I've noticed it more and more. It's really IMO a slightly above average fun blockbuster and not much more. Still, putting it behind Episodes 1 and 2 is quite a stretch. You can try to argue Lucas tried to do something "new and different" and Abrams jus...

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
From everything I've heard I am very excited about this. I liked Edwards Godzilla a little more than most apparently did, and everybody's saying this is better. Plus just from some of the details I've read it seems right for me. Tuesday night is the night
