Re: IT: Chapter Two (2019)

The first It remake may not be among the best ever but it was definitely better than the Conjuring, Insidious, their spin-offs, and all that McDonalds of horror that gets churned out every year. Midsommar may have went the artsy fartsy route but was too dull and meandering and long and generally lac...

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Here's a list of what Abrams has changed direction (these are just in the marketing, footage, and interviews, and magazine articles, not spoiler rumors ) from TLJ. I'll put it under a tag because it's a long list of knowns: Skywalker in the title of the movie The broken Skywalker lightsaber is repai...

Re: Midsommar (2019)

There is such thing as 'belaboring the point' and terrible pacing, and this movie crossed that line. Not nearly as good or even scary as Hereditary and I have no idea why this movie should be recommended for general audiences by reviewers...it shouldn't for content reasons alone, being edgy doesn't ...

Re: Bond 25 (2020)

Craig not having many scenes with Lea Seydoux could be a sign she exits the story if not permanently than for a while in some way.

If Swann is 'killed' at the beginning I've wondered all along if she doesn't actually stay dead with a sort of grand surprise later on to undo it.

Re: Manga & Anime

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/511FJN7KBCL._AC_SY400_.jpg I have had the Platinum collection of NGE on DVD along with the End of Eva movie for a very long time with the old dub. End of Evangelion is a great movie considered as a capstone on the series, but I could never say start ...
