Re: What was the last movie you've watched?

Catch Me if You Can. Thoroughly enjoyable film, great music score from John Williams, fantastic title sequence as well, nicely handled by Spielberg and two great lead performances from Leonardo and Tom, although I think Christopher Walken is tremendous as well as Leo's dad.

Re: christian bale vs val kilmer vs george cloney

I grew up with the Michael Keaton movies, I was five years old when the first film came out and I remember the whole hype that accompanied it, it was really something. He was wonderful, he really was, I think both he and Bale are equally good, in different way. Keaton was neurotic, Bale is moody, bu...

How do you unzip MP3 music files?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, and also a big apology it this makes me sound stupid, which it probably will, but I recently downloaded the Don't Think of Elephants track from the Inception soundtrack site, but the file is zipped and I would really love to put it onto my personal MP3 ...

Re: Zack Snyder to direct Superman reboot

I think Snyder has done fine so far with his career and film choices. Dawn of the Day is probably the best of the recent remakes of classic 70s horrors that are floating around, and certainly better than any of those train wrecks produced by Platinum Dunes and Michael Bay, 300 was great over the top...

Re: The Nolan Fans Awesome Scale: Inception

Simply put, Inception is awesome. Scientists have studied this and determined it to be a mathematical fact.

And for what it's worth, Arthur's fight in the hotel lobby is the best movie scene ever.

Re: What flaws do you see in The Dark Knight?

I think by taking Bruce and Batman away from the mansion and into a penthouse apartment and batcave at a building site, there was a bit of the romanticism of the character removed and I think, while not hurting the film too much, did remove a bit of charm from the character and his inner mythology, ...

Re: Favorite Christopher Nolan Film (Inception now included)

Gotta be a toss up between The Prestige, Batman Begins and Inception for me. Great stories, well told, done with originality and intelligence and a confidence to not push the obvious buttons. Probably settle for The Prestige though as his best.

Re: Favorite scene - Batman Begins

"What the hell are you?"

Falconi is grabbed out of the limo by the sunroof.

"I'm Batman."

Freakin brilliant. Then to top it all, he flies off up into the sky. Hans Zimmer's music just makes the moment. Pure, magic.
