Re: Nolan's Next Film

Really thinking we won't get something until Bond in like 2021. A new original in 2020 and a franchise film (probably Bond) in 2022-2023 is my guess 8-) I would prefer a new movie in 2019, but I think your bet is a lot more "down to earth", sadly. I don't like the idea of releases every 3 years. A ...

Re: Dunkirk Awards Season Discussion Thread

If Nolan wanted a better chance of winning, he should have in a very hamfisted manner, retooled Dunkirk to denounce neo-Nazism and promote European unity. Ben Shapiro is a fucking moron, don't listen to that tool. None the less, the noms feels appropriate, I hope it wins but my gut says no. I final...

Now at #215 on IMDb. If nothing else this at least proves that people in there, didn't all rate Interstellar so highly out of fanboyism. They genuinely adored that movie.£

Re: Dunkirk Awards Season Discussion Thread

Vote here! Several places to vote for Dunkirk including Blockbuster film. You can vote Nolan for Director (he is losing - mine was the first vote for him). Barry (with last name spelled wrong) is in one category. Dunkirk is close to 1st for Cinematography. http://roberawards.com/the-2017-rober-awar...

Re: Dunkirk Awards Season Discussion Thread

Honestly, what did you people expect here? Dunkirk is not an awards movie, it never was, the lack of story, fleshed out characters and a more dense script was always a risk, this is the result. Fury Road didn't win either, neither did The Revenant. Maaaaybe Chris will win Director, maybe, and some ...
