Remember how early on there were talks about Tenet being played on several screens within one theater complex, do you guys think they will go forward with that?

Obviously in bigger complexes they will play the movie in various formats: Standard 2D, 4K, IMAX, Dolby Vision (no Atmos), 4Dx and in certain cities you have the film formats 35mm and 70mm.

But in a complex with only 2D screens - will it get more than one screen? Curious to see how this will pan out.

^ In Dutch cinemas they are selling tickets for multiple screens at the same time.

So potential 4th delay for Tenet incoming? Hollywood Reporter posted something like further films delay...

Oops, meant to delete the post from this thread since the box office seemed more appropriate.

That’s awesome. With the capacity limitations, this will allow more people to see the movie and obviously would help with the box office numbers.

Here, in Europe, the movie is already distribute to the cinemas admin and some countries are waiting for the "ok" from the governments for the 21/28 August

What about drive-ins in California and New York State? Will they show Tenet from September 3 even though indoor theaters are still closed?

That's the next question... Ultimately all depends on how WB chooses to deal with politics between the indoor cinemas in that area vs the drive-ins that would get the jump by weeks if not months.

At very least the US and Australia are of course further ahead, there will be drive-ins showing Tenet on release, UK and international was such a longshot because almost all of them are new in response to the pandemic and a lot (including the one that I posted which tbh may remain only UK drive in or outdoor venue showing it on release) are LED screen based instead of DCP projection
