I’m so happy that Lady Gaga is back making real music again, the stripped down Joanna stuff didn’t do it for but it showed off a lot of range and showed off her talent as a songwriter.

Chromatica is great, it’s a true album too and I really appreciate that. Put the album on and don’t skip any tracks, it’s a ride. The instrumental interludes really brought everything together. Very influenced by French house music and disco, would love to see a Daft Punk collab.

New Taylor Swift album is essentially a The National record ft. Swift thanks to Aaron and Bryce Dessner.

Never thought I'd be saying this about a Swift record, but it's excellent.

seems like you're diminishing swift's contributions to the record incorrectly ^

also, im not a big swift guy at all, but this is great.

Folklore is incredible, literally one skip for me and her most cohesive album yet.
Like All Too Well was stretched and turned into a full album.

Most of the album's songs were already demos/written by Aaron, so I don't think I really am. Her contributions are great, but the entire backbone of the record is the production/instrumentation (the latter of which Taylor had little to no involvement in according to the official credits).

Which was the skip, m4?

all of them make it clear it was a huge back and forth collaboration, so it just sounds weird you're taking away some of the acclaim from Swift and giving it to these guys by calling it "basically a National album" instead of, at least, naming it a byproduct of their shared ideas. just sayin'

It's a little bit of both. I also got Lana Del Ray vibes on a few of those songs.
