My ear is my reliable source. :D I checked interviews with Fiona, sound similar, but honestly I'm not sure. (The first spoiler tag is obviously a joke)

They just don't like the definition, I think we can call this inversion thing a weird kind of time travel. In the movie's world a theoretical time travel would mean "time transportation", where you can jump to any point of time in a moment, which is not possible.
