i like the idea that this is his heaven's gate, where he's slowly slipping into madness while staging increasingly more absurd and huge set pieces. perhaps this is the biggest budget original movie since avatar is accurate.

Inception was filmed in six countries, beginning in Tokyo on June 19 and ending in Canada on November 22. Principal photography for Tenet began in late May and will take place in seven countries. Filming will last approximately five months - the same as Inception.

Inception had a budget of $160 million in 2009-10, so the rumored budget of $225 million seems legit.
