Once Upon A Time ... In Hollywood: One of Tarantino's best. I loved this story, the look and feel, it's definitely one of his most gorgeous films. DiCaprio and Pitt are great, Robbie is an angelic presence as Tate and I just loved Tarantino's commentary on this specific time period in Hollywood and how he subverts reality and delivers us a dreamy, wishful take on what if... One of his most melancholic and bittersweet endings and it has hit all the right notes to get there. Seeing this in 35mm was pure bliss.

The Red Sea Diving Resort: Quite allright, Evans is quite the eye-catcher lol. Bennett is one to watch, I hope she gets some interesting roles.

Solace: lol

The Foreigner: I liked this. Campbell shows he's still got it. Ultimate Zaddy Brosnan is a delight and the MVP and Chan is pretty badass as usual. I liked how plotty this was, all the way until the end. An entertaining action flick.

Zodiac: Been at least four if not five years since I last saw this. I always thought it was good but now I have finally seen that it is indeed great, if not Fincher's best work. It's not flashy, it's not overly emotional given the subject material but damn is it gripping. Fincher is so focused here. Everything is so precise, it's a long film but the narrative keeps you glued to the screen. I love this.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters: omg if this is not monster porn then I don't know what is. The previous film had style, this is just "everything that can be broken needs to be obliterated". So, fun for it's action but that's about it.

The Searchers: a true 50s western all about macho men.. Some of the real location shoots were gorgeous though.

I haven't seen Your Name yet, but this is a good introduction to Makoto Shinkai, for me.
