Reader RusDelfi, who takes part in the crowd at the filming of the "ditch", told all the details of the film process.
It’s hard to imagine Hollywood action movies without extreme scenes on the road. For this, Christopher Nolan decided to choose the Tallinn “ditch”. Local drivers were invited to shoot car scenes in their cars. One of them is our reader, let's call him Stanislav.

“There are about 120 cars. Our main task is to create the appearance of the American version of a busy highway. ” He stressed that the special driving skills are not needed, but the two women who could not directly back up, the next day was no longer on the site.

The plot is not known to anyone. But constantly something explodes, a lot of smoke, accidents, shooting.

According to him, the shooting takes place only at the moment when the “ditch” is blocked. “At the weekend we will be filming from morning to evening, on shorter working days: from 7 to 17,” he said.

Immediately struck by taxi cars and police. They are similar to the original, but not to the end. A local resident will see the difference. And, as Stanislav noted, the Laagna tee in the film will be very long, more than 20 kilometers.

The main selection criteria: inconspicuous color of the car and knowledge of the English language. “With the latter, many are bad. Usually they say simple commands - forward, backward, but sometimes make personal notes. With this, as a rule, trouble. Many do not understand what they want from them. They can not even make out your car number. Though they speak English without an accent. ”

That wasn’t part of filming. It was a presentation that happened the night before filming began on that road.
One day before the traffic stopped at Laagna's footsteps, Jaan Roose, who was trickling at heights, surpassed Laagna Road in Lasnamäe by walking on a slackline tape.

Roos succeeded well and he did tricks over the Laagna Canal. Fortunately, rain did not fall during the man's performance.

Jaan Roose's presentation is an introduction to filmmaking in Laagna Channel and the accompanying cultural program “Lasnamäe Filmsuvi”, which will be produced in cooperation with the city of Tallinn, the film producer Funfair Films Limited and their representative, Osaühing Allfilm.

The nervous-knit high-pitched rope-watching spectacle took place at the Lasnamäe district government. Earlier, Jaan Roose has walked 117 meters above the roof of the Swissotel Tallinn and Tornimäe apartment building, making a reversal wave that went down as a slackline world record.

In 2015, Jaan created a fantasy film "Assasin's Creed" as a stuntman and has been a slackliner at the Madonna concert.

Seems like the only things we know for certain are the following:

- This is a vehicle chase.
- JDW is most likely not really a firefighter.
- Pattinson is most likely playing some type of government agent.

So JDW is in disguise as a firefighter, perhaps because being on a firetruck will cause a big distraction on the road and in the city, and perhaps breaking into a building. I'm thinking of the first Mission: Impossible where the most logical way to get into the CIA was through this method - a diversion.

That works. And I'm guessing based on the position of John David's stuntman on that firetruck that at some point there's going to be a whole "extending the fire truck ladder for some crazy stunt" while speeding down the highway.

I can't stop speculating. I'm fascinated.
