If you don't own this on disc...

But seriously this gives my sound system a work out every time - ugh I'm craving to play it right now just by thinking about it. One of the best sound mixes EVER.

I don't have a 4K HDR TV/setup yet tho

I bought it on DVD. Having physical media is important because at least then one's not at the mercy of Netflix or other companies.

Definitely one of the benefits of physical media. But yeah I'm also just not satisfied with streaming (my only experience is with Netlfix). Compressed lossy audio is my biggest issue with it.

Recently got Annihilation on Blu-ray and the difference is night and day. I wasn't impressed with the audio track at all when I watched it the first time while everyone who watched in theaters raved about the sound mix.

I'll have to see about buying a UHD blu-ray player and subsequent films. I must say that more and more films are becoming available on UHD and the reviews seem to be pretty good.

I just watch so many movies I'll probably only buy a handful of films per year or so. 2049 is definitely a disc I'd want to have. The UHD on netflix looks pretty damn impressing so far and I've only re-watched the first couple of scenes.

This movie is like a drug for me. It's just soooo fucking good. I only have it on Blu-ray, but I recently purchased an 4K Apple TV, so at least I'll know if I ever plan on buying a 4K TV, I'll automatically be upgraded.

I have the TV but something tells me PS5 will be the player, don’t have the money for separate thing yet.

Movie is (still) a masterpiece.

hells yeah it is

seeing it (partly) on UHD makes me so pumped for the movie itself and, of course, for VilleDune

Can't wait to see this again once I finally got a proper sound set-up (just sound from TV is rather lacking...)

don't wait https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-SP-BS22- ... way&sr=8-3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTlPG0D8b44&t=41s
these are what i use. they're part of a larger 5.1 setup so i can just get the rest when i have the space for it, but even on their own it's a quantum leap above tv speakers
