Yeah they must be using CGI. Guns with blanks can still hurt someone within 20 feet and they are never pointed directly at someone so if they’re shooting around a huge crowd, maybe that’s what they’re going with.Geoffrey wrote: ↑June 26th, 2019, 1:16 amSounds like they were rehearsing, using onomatopoeia to signify where and when they would pull the triggers. The firecrackers are probably used like those seen in The Dark Knight Rises's stock exchange heist. The actual muzzle flash will probably be computer-generated, unfortunately. This may have been done for safety purposes or convenience as opposed to using blanks. Hopefully the CGI is absolutely unnoticable, but even if so, I doubt they'll nail the general recoil and "feel" of actually firing rifles.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sator_SquareThe meaning of the title is not "beginning-beginning", which was the meaning of Inception, but means principle in the sense of "foundation, hinge". The term Tenet refers to the square of the Sator, a recurring Latin inscription in the form of a magic square, composed of the following five words: Sator, Arepo, Tenet, Opera, Rotas.
Their juxtaposition, in the order shown, gives rise to a palindrome, that is to say a sentence which remains identical if read from left to right or vice versa. The inscription has been the subject of frequent archaeological discoveries, both in stone inscriptions and in graffiti, but the meaning and symbolic meaning are still obscure, despite the numerous hypotheses formulated. At the center of the square, the word "Tenet" forms a palindromic cross.
We do not know how much this aspect will affect the top secret plot, but it is still an interesting aspect of Christopher Nolan's choice.
