I'm hoping for white nationalists but fear Nolan is too much of a coward.
Do you know that, despite what your 1st world country's media may tell you, the vast majority of terrorist attacks are not motivated by white nationalism but by religion? And by a factor of over ten. Besides that, it would probably completely throw off the likely apolitical story. It would take a coward to ruin a story with a vain attempt at making some hamfisted political statement.
Dear friends, we constantly see and hear of attacks from the Muslim world, but fear not. Islamophobia holds no place in our hearts. For we have great fears! Fears of white nationalism! Just recently in the case of the Christchurch massacre!
Yeah, yeah, we get it. Also, none of Nolan's movies is right-wing.
