I'm not sure if a lot of Disney's choices with Star Wars make sense, honestly.
I think it will be refreshing POV in the star wars universe. Cassian was born a rebel or rather he chose to be a rebel instead of the countless jedi origin stories we have had already. I think thats what I liked most about RO, lack of jedi fuckery.
