IDK if I get the hate for Todd Phillips. From the work of his I have seen, he's certainly a decent director. I think it's cool that he wants to expand a bit more and really test some stuff out.

I mean, comedy actors take on dramatic roles and get pretty darn good reviews for those roles. Shouldn't we hope the same for Phillips?

The only thing that concerns me is WB's previous history with handling the DC franchise. Since this is outside the continuity of DCEU, I do hope Phillips will be able to realize his vision and won't have his product be all chopped up by WB.
