The Edward James Olmos cameo should have been cut. Did not do anything other than having another original character. Otherwise, it was totally another beast
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Villeneuve did it better than Abrams imo. Also yeah, I could've done without those sounds as well.Vader182 wrote: ↑February 26th, 2018, 5:06 pmYou all know I love TFA, but one major difference is that TFA's actual plot very much repeats/remixes previous Star Wars movies. Blade Runner 2049s plot and story completely does its own thing. In that way, references are as much a bit of connective tissue between films as fan-service but still mostly in the background.Master Virgo wrote: ↑February 26th, 2018, 1:17 pmTrue. If there is one thing I didn't like about 2049, it's those weird Awakensish homages to the original.£
Although there are a couple "Trash Compactor" like beats I could live without.

Guess the next step is into space? Or perhaps it'll always be completely Earth-bound
Best Buy has this for 14.99 on BD until March 3rd. Just a headsup.
Congrats to Deakins and the VFX team!

GG, well deserved!
Well its been a long time coming but I’m really pleased for Deakins on his success last night.
BR2049 was a beautifully executed film and most of that goes to Deakins immense ability in his craft.
Still yet to pruchase BR2049 on Blu-Ray

Purchase it on 4K if you can.
