Last Film You Watched? VI
Is it fair to say student films are "first films?" I'm not sure what the appropriate cut-off is.ArmandFancypants wrote: ↑January 31st, 2018, 2:21 amHe's actually made 3 films but I'm wondering if anyone around here has seen the first one? Super curious to see it, just not easy to get your hands on it 'round these parts.

The Last Samurai
First time watching this in like 10 years. And wow. I was emotionally affected by the heart of this movie. It has definitely stood the test of time and even though the battle scenes are epic, what intriuges me the most are the conversations between Watanabe and Cruise. Watanabe is incredible in this.
And Zimmer's score is just breathtaking. Might be on my top 5 list of his best soundtracks.
