The horse seems small, or at least smaller than the other footage we are seeing. Still very confused about the horse (design wise and size wise). All in all, cool footage.

Probably some forced perspective thing so that it is "easier" to pull

Right. I believe two different size horses were used. This was the smaller version, in order for it to be pulled easier, I imagine.
I hadn’t seen this before, thank you for posting.
