This is actually sad. Natalie, Ace & others aren't just the backbone of the most vibrant Nolan community, they're also responsible for archiving things in one place that would've gotten lost forever. I love visiting old forums here when I wasn't a participant & getting a glimpse of the making of those movies. A lot of interesting articles, links, photos, details, info etc can be found here that you wont find anywhere else on the internet.

I guess the only silver lining is that account has a large following on X that will help get bums on seats. But a responsibility comes with that @NolanAnalyst. Credit your sources. It's basic common decency and you wont lose anything in the process. In fact you can direct more people here and help build instead of destroy this community.

This is the absolute minimum. Natalie & Ace deserve much better than this.

I don't post on here often, but was a lurker for many years before officially joining. This NolanAnalyst thing is extremely frustrating and I feel for so many of the more avid members, especially the ones who help share the incredible nuggets that keep our excitement at the level that it is. I deleted my twitter earlier this year, but I even remember NolanAnalyst posting fan prints and artwork without crediting the artists. It's truly shameful to have such low respect for not only the people in this community/site, but other artists who have spent significant time creating something for movies and a filmmaker they love. It's quite evident that NolanAnalyst has nothing of merit to provide themselves and bottomfeeds off of the more resourceful and talented. But that criticism can so easily be rescinded if they just credit sources and artists. Do the right thing and be a decent person. Time and time again, especially in this day and age, people prove that it's apparently hard to be kind and respectful, but you're in a situation where it's actually extremely easy to be just that, and actively choosing not to be is simply sad.

I joined here only in 2023, after being a super-fan for a decade. The sense of belonging I've felt cannot be overstated. It hurts to see cold water poured on mine and other people's enthusiasm like this.

@NolanAnalyst, you're causing unnecessary harm by not crediting your sources. You can probably still hold your position as the go-to Nolan account on X, while also crediting the work that everyone on this forum like Natalie, Ace and others do. It's a win-win!

Don't be an a**hole. Do better.

I've been here since 2010, and I can't speak highly enough about how this site has been a lovely place to be. But I am beginning to wonder if we need to find another place to go. This site has served us well, but its owners have even abandoned the main pages. I'm wondering if we maybe would fare better in a place where we can vet these folks - particularly the users on Nazi-twitter. I keep thinking one day that hellsite will implode but doesn't look likely. Anyone have any ideas?

Stay.

We are still a community. I said in a previous post. Our boy Nolan is on top of the world now. Nothing will stop people from trying to find out every new bit of info about his upcoming film, because that is one of the funnest parts when Christopher Nolan announces a movie. Trying to see all the juicy new leaks, etc. Lets not let this forum die because of NolanAnalMan. Pleaseeeeee. If he goes, there will always be another. Take pride in the fact that we were the first man. The world may never know. But we know.

Nothing much here, but Jesse Garcia gave a little blurb about filming.

From the Garcia family’s odyssey to Chris Nolan’s The Odyssey, can you elaborate on how it’s going so far?

It’s going great. Everybody is so nice, and the locations are beautiful. It’s been fun to work with all the actors that we’re working with, and everyone is putting everything into it. We’re literally emptying the tank every day. It’s epic. There’s going to be some groundbreaking stuff on screen that’s really never been done before. [Nolan] keeps upping the game with everything that he does, and the way it’s going to look on screen is just going to be incredible.
