We went from A-list to C-list and all the way down to Z-list real quick.

Still no room for Debicki and Pearce of course.
Oppenheimer is packed with Z-list actors and that one worked pretty well I think

All these years later and you haven’t changed one bit. Smh. You prob would have said the same when Krumholtz was cast in Oppenehimer and he was basically supporting MVP after RDJ.

Nolan's gotta fill out the crew of the ship and you're not gonna cast bit roles who most will be monster fodder with Christian Bale and Leo DiCaprio

Interesting to notice that while mediterranean countries are not represented, and while the lead is again a white man, Nolan has been careful to not just have white caucasians in the cast. On the contrary, there will be african-american, latino and now asian-american. As well as Elliot Page of course. Nolan is doing as diverse a cast as he could, when adapting The Odyssey with an English/American cast.

I guess Nolan's not too concerned with historical accuracy in high fantasy film with witches, monsters, and gods...though I'm sure the lack of Mediterranean, especially Greeks, will become a talking point with the certain groups who love to complain about said things.

The key here is 'fantasy'. This is not ancient history, it is mythology... and Nolan's interpretation of that mythology. I don't really care to see historical accuracy. Sorry not sorry to those who have complaints.
