Did it fill the entire screen? If it was the regular 1.85:1 version in German then you would see it on the sides if it was the 1.90:1 version it would fill the entire Screen at Leonberg. Last time I was at Leonberg was for F1 back then they did not have it. But I also got no update that there is a German Trailer available for IMAX.

If I had to guess it was the 1.9:1 version but I wasn't in inspection-mode, I was in hype-mode

Hey, super kind of you and sorry for not responding. I kind of forgot to log back in. I have only been a member for a few months, so this seems to be the issue. Since my message I have also seen the trailer, so no more need! If anyone is interested, I saw it at an IMAX screening before One Battle after Another in Germany, so it seems they still run it in select cases.
Which IMAX? To my knowledge there is no German IMAX version yet, there is just the regulat 1.85 and 2.39 version + the English IMAX. Was ist English or Geman? And was it the IMAX version?
It was an OV Version of One Battle after Another, so the The Odyssey Tease was also in English. When it comes to the technical details, I have no clues tbh, but it was in Frankfurt and the IMAX ist fairly new.
I remember in September I saw One Battle After Another in Brussels, Belgium in IMAX 1.43 GT laser. I got The Odyssey teaser, but it was very clearly the 1.85 2K DCP. That was very unfortunate.
I was at IMAX Karlsruhe yesterday for Back to the Future, they had the Teaser in 1.43:1 with German Audio and German Title Screen...so it has to exist somewhere. Damn was big but I gotta say, I do like the Flat version more, it's more immersive here.
For those of you more familiar with the source material, does the opening shot in the teaser trailer, that keeps popping back up throughout the trailer, ring a bell that might mean anything in particular to the story? The shot of
the horizon and ocean near nighttime?
I know it's a generic shot, but they keep repeating it throughout. It feels like either that shot will be a big and pivotal moment in the story, or else it was used as filler that kept repeating because Nolan and marketing team don't want to show a lot of footage in the teaser.
It's just a continuous shot of the camera zooming in on Odysseus paddling on the ship wreckage, you can see him center frame. We get closer and closer each cut to it.
