I know this may be a shot in the dark, but i was able to be an extra in TDKR for football scene because of the info posted this site :D

I am trying to figure out a way I can be involved, in any small or large way, in this next film project that's been announced. Anyone who's been a crew (or cast) member for his films have any insight on how I could do this?

I actually have a media technology degree (video and audio production), and worked on some indie projects, so I know a lot about technical aspects of filmmaking, but I loss interest shortly after graduating, and am currently a CDL driver. However, I would have A LOT of interest again if I were working on a Nolan film.

Perhaps a production assistant or production driver?

It'd be nice to be a part of the crew that is present throughout the whole shoot, if possible.

Some crew members that work on films work and travel for entirety of filming, and I'm guessing department heads have been chosen for this film and they are recruiting their crews if filming early next year. Thus why I'm asking this question now.

I understand more leads may come up when filming locations are announced (looking for "locals" for extras , some crew, etc.) but I would prefer a longer-term gig, and am personally flexible where I could literally take a short or long leave of absence from work, but would be helpful to have few weeks notice to ask off. Also why I'm trying to find info now if it's out there.

Even if people share past experiences on Nolan films that could give some tips.
