This is highly, HIGHLY unlikely - the sheer budget of doing something like this for all 40 theaters, especially 7 months out from release, makes 0 sense.El Especial wrote: ↑December 5th, 2025, 5:38 pmhttps://x.com/nolananalyst/status/19970 ... xBkBJdfnKA
Has he pulled this out of his ass? Or is he copypasting from someone else again without sourcing? At least he should say explicitly if its his "info". He always does this, be vague about tweets so he can backtrack later saying it wasn't *his* info, he was just aggregating.

Nothing about the possibility for increased run timeSo this same spirit and what's next drives everything we do at IMAX, the constant pursuit to make every part of the IMAX experience even better. We're advancing the next evolution of projection. We're looking at how do we make our sound mixes better and more efficient. But remember, we have to bring that into that purpose-built ecosystem. And all to ensure that every IMAX location delivers that same clarity, that same brightness that power of the scale that I talked about earlier. And as we did with our film cameras, we're really looking at how to reimagine our film projectors. Can we make them smaller? Can we make them lighter? Can we make them scalable so that more audiences and more filmmakers can experience this iconic format.
And what we've done with Odyssey by the time Odyssey is released next summer, we've actually now increased the number of film locations by 25%. So we'll Odyssey will be in 40 film locations next year. For nearly 6 decades, we have pushed the limits of sound MH scale and this legacy of innovation and quality will shape the future of IMAX going forward. Now let's take a look.
Yep just clocked that he has copy pasted this from the IMAX investor call article we were discussing here. Once again - complete misinterpretation of what was actually said (more like complete lies since NOTHING about runtime is even said, he's literally just conjured this out of thin air)
And now people are gonna pretend like this is true and he's the source...I hate this fucking account so much man

Even worse some other sites like Jordan from World of Reel, who have an even bigger following, have been taking information from his tweets and posting it.

For anyone joining us at this point in the thread: NolanAnalyst is not a trustworthy source! Not only do they plagiarise from many, including the people in this forum, they peddle mis, if not disinformation for engagement. As a cherry on top, the person responsible can't even be bothered to write the fifty words of filler text in a vain attempt to disguise their plagarism, instead preferring a robot to do it for them.
