Same, I do think we have the main cast already, but I am waiting to see if there's any more notable actors. After that, it'll be Crew/Set Photos....
Anne Hathaway Enters Her ‘Queen Era’
In November, it was revealed that she is joining Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, alongside Zendaya, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o. Hathaway first worked with Nolan in “The Dark Knight Rises” in 2012 and again in 2014’s “Interstellar,” now a decade ago. Joining him for a third film has her at a loss for words.
“I have so many feelings about it that I don’t even know how to articulate. It fills me with so much joy, and I don’t know how to talk about it,” she says. “I love Chris and Emma Nolan so much, and to be invited into their world is, I mean, I know from experience it’s one of the best places you can find yourself. Getting to be invited twice really felt like something, three felt like it would’ve been greedy, so I never let myself hope that that would happen, and that it has makes me emotional, to be perfectly honest. It makes me feel like I’m doing something right.”
Between the two Nolan films she won the Oscar for “Les Misérables.” Coming back into Nolan’s universe for “Interstellar” after the intensity of the Oscars experience was “vitalizing, reviving, encouraging, and it was just a gift in that moment.”
“Getting ‘Interstellar’ at any point in your life would have been a career highlight. The moment that I got to go into that world, for me personally, it was the safest and most exhilarating place I could ever be as an actor and as a human,” she says.

How do we think the roles will be broken down?
I can see Charlize and Pattinson possibly being the antagonists.
I'm assuming Holland is the lead protagonist and lead of the film, with Damon as an older mentor.
Zendaya is probably a love interest / dead lover.
Hathaway is possibly Holland's mother? Or maybe Damon's wife?
Lupita I can see as maybe a doctor, a scientist, someone in mathematics who is an ally who also explains exposition.
Definitely sci-fi/action/futuristic/adventure vibes with this cast.
I can see AI being involved. Maybe ETs. Probably less to do with time this go around.

Anybody here anything about where this is filming??? It's supposed to film early 2025 so you think we would hear stuff about sets being built or locations being scouted somewhere in the world by now.

Damon being the first announced makes me think he'll be the lead, but I think like some of his other films there'll be another character or two that'll be just as vital. I'm predicting a family situation with Tom/Matt/Anne, with Pattinson being an outsider of some kind to their characters but still important enough to be one of the MCs. We only have his prior films to go by as possible inspirations and even then it's unclear what recurring motifs he'll include and what ones he won't. An alien movie would be the only Sci Fi avenue he's not explored at all, I'd be interested in that.
Most of all, there's the pattern of release: TDK followed by Inception, Dunkirk followed by Tenet and Oppenheimer followed by this feels like a pattern. Plus even Batman Begins followed by The Prestige or TDKR followed by Interstellar, so it's easy to assume a non sci fi film followed by a sci fi film is gonna happen next. Personally, it would be interesting if he tried a Spielbergian type sci fi film again, with a family and aliens and potential first contact.
That being said, again we have no clue and he could easily subvert this pattern. Could be another pure crime film.

Nothing that new, but little bit from an article about "Interstellar" re-release.
"Since “Oppenheimer’s” big night at the Oscars and Nolan’s best director win, there’s been much speculation about his next film with near daily rumors circulating about casting and genre, none of which have been officially confirmed. It’s not something he’s speaking publicly about yet. One thing he will say, however, is that he’s in the throes of intensive testing for a new film technology with IMAX to use in the next production.
“They have an incredible engineering staff, really brilliant minds doing extraordinary work,” he said. “It’s wonderful to see innovation in the celluloid film arena still happening and happening at the highest level possible"

My hunch is telling me that we're getting Universal's press release about Nolan's next by the end of this year, which will include the its synopsis, cast, crew, and so on.
I think probably just the title and genre/general concept. "High-concept sci-fi thriller" or something.
Maybe a few more cast members and crew (Ludwig, Lame, Hoytema, etc.).
