If anything, Scorsese is like the ultimate god of filmbros. He makes things that mostly only the niche circle gets, whereas Nolan's films have public appeal. still its not the full extent of the narrative, they diss on Nolan fans because to them they seem like faux intellectuals, ive read the same "they think they are smart because they like Nolan, but the movies are not really smart, its to make people think they are" kinda bullshit soooo many times on twitter, youtube comments, everywhere really.

Was that David Krumholtz deleted tweet about Oppenheimer not being on some critics' lists? Actually, reading the films on the vanity fair list and that critic has very certain taste that are just not mainstream Hollywood. Get use to it, many critic's list are going to be like that.

However, Oppenheimer did make both New York Times critics top 10.

Off topic, reading these list and Killer of Flower Moon is decent Scorsese, but he's had alot better and the love for Asteroid City is perplexing to me.
