FYI apparently the BFI IMAX hasn't even been told by Universal when tickets are meant to go on sale in the UK (mentioned at tonight's Dark Knight all nighter)

I got my tickets for IMAX 70mm in DUBLIN, CA
Anyone know if they will play trailers for 70mm IMAX screenings or do they just start the movie?

Does anyone remember how long Dunkirk played in IMAX 70mm? Regular 70mm and 35mm?
I'm thinking that'll be the best comp since that was the last "normally" released Nolan movie
There are a couple of theaters around me projecting it on film, one 70mm really close, and then a few 35mm, 70mm, and IMAX 70mm like an hour away.
So I'm just curious? 2 weeks? 3 weeks?

Damn, that’s devotion right there. Yeah, I am PUMPED. The only Nolan I’ve seen in film was Dunkirk in 35mm in Las Vegas (which was awesome). Everything else has been “liemax” ranging from pretty decent screens/size/resolution to absolute shitters. I can’t wait for July 21!KEM wrote: ↑June 12th, 2023, 1:02 pmI drove 5 hours with my friends to see TENET on an 85ft IMAX, it was totally worth it, you won’t regret it at allAsianVersionOfET wrote: ↑June 12th, 2023, 11:27 amFuck it. Just got tickets for 2 days in a row at the Branson IMAX, that’s right after I have my 7 day in a row stretch at the St. Louis IMAX. Now I just need to get a ticket for my 10th showing!!
