Lewis Strauss (Downey Jr.) works at a desk in a dark office, dimly lit by a single desk lamp. There’s a knock at the door. “I’m busy!” yells Strauss. The door opens. A man walks in. “A closed door isn’t enough these days. I oughta start locking it… This better be important,” complains Strauss.

“In fact this may be the most important moment of your entire life Mr. Strauss,” the man says. “Or should I say Howard Stark.”

Stark freezes. He looks up from his desk. As the man approaches the light, his face becomes clearer: Nick Fury.

Fury continues, “How familiar are you with the multiverse?”

Stark slowly removes his glasses. The music crescendoes. CUT TO BLACK.
