Looking good! Interesting that they released an official picture just as production started, I don't think Nolan has ever done that before? Or maybe since what, The Dark Knight Rises? Not sure.

On one hand they're starting the marketing too soon seeing as how the film doesn't come out for another year-and-a-half, but on the other hand, filming has started in public meaning leaks are inevitable, so I guess that it makes sense that they released an official pic to get ahead of them.

Yeah. Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises both released teaser images of Joker and Bane. Love this photo of Chilian. Love your Nolan video, by the way, watch it like every other day.

I'm listening to it just now (wouldn't know how to record it), but nothing new was mentioned - Cillian just said it's an ambitious project, it was shot really fast and it's a fascinating story, basically.

Yeah nothing we didn’t know already.
He said of working with the director: “In the first half of the year I was working on a film called Oppenheimer directed by Christopher Nolan. We finished shooting at the end of May. That comes out next July. It was a fast shoot, we shot it really really fast.
"It’s a very ambitious project and I think sadly it’s a very relevant story considering what’s happening in the world today, particularly IN Ukraine, but it’s a fascinating story about America in the twentieth century, it’s a fascinating story of this man and his life and how he got to this point in his life.
"Chris Nolan is challenging because he’s the best and that’s what you want as an actor. You want to be pushed. I don’t feel like I’ve properly worked unless I’ve been pushed
