Xbox Live and PSN down. The hacker group Lizard Squad claims to be responsible as they promised that something would happen on Christmas, but nothing has been confirmed. It might as well be that the servers are overloaded because of all the new consoles that have been offered as presents.

From my experience today, Xbox Live and PSN are up, they're just really busy. Taking ages to download updates. I'd say it's just heavy traffic more than anything.

It was down during the night but i played nearly whole day, not at home atm

It didn't occur all at the same time, I played on Xbox Live as well today and I read that some players had it down since two days

And I've read on the Xbox Support site that everything is up and running, can't check that myself sadly
