well it released on last-gen first, current-gen a year later and pc even later after that

at the time it was the most expensive game ever made and surely a part of that went into the ports but who knows if that was really the end of it

Well the 250 budget for GTA V was reported before the original release of the game so I doubt that includes the costs for the ports, which were extremely detailed.

For comparison, the previous Red Dead Redemption cost approximately 100 million.

like, there's no indication the next gen of consoles is coming any time soon, so there's not excuse like there was with GTAV where Rockstar could make it for PS3/360 and then conveniently release it for PS4/XBO and then wait for PC with the excuse that they had to make sure it was perfect (which it was)

like I can at least understand the marketing logic behind that shit
