Half-Life: Alyx
this is already pioneering as the first ever interesting vr project
Yes, and I can even imagine it being groundbreaking, but I'm quite shocked that Valve would honestly think people would give up on Half-Life 3 for a VR project that isn't titled Half-Life 3... it even sounds like a sort of troll announcement, hopefully followed by a Half-Life 3 announcement a few weeks or months later.Disney+'s solo2001 wrote: ↑November 19th, 2019, 6:32 amthis is already pioneering as the first ever interesting vr project

even then strapping something to my head and so close to my eyes for '''''immersive experience''''' sounds eerie (and sweaty) to me

At this point, even if Valve doesn't develop games, you'd think they'd at least get another studio too do a proper Half Life 3 because it will sell a billion copies on the controversy alone.
Like, it's such easy money at this point, it's a no-brainer.

Damn, that ending tho...
Seeing the ending of this reinvigorated my love of the Half-Life and Portal series and I'm playing through Black Mesa right now. Xen is a triumph.

So will Half-Life 3 be VR only or both VR and flat, like Resi 7?
