Why is it necessary to uplift Tenet by dragging down a bunch of other artists and movies, many of which I'll bet you haven't seen. It's not a competition.

Being a fan has probably nothing to do with belittling other works in order to elevate your particular preference (even if other people do it) but it does have to do with having appreciation, appraisal, criticism, etc. towards our favorite artist for whatever project they come up with. I’m sure most of you are aware of this.

I love Tenet and Nolan but I don’t think there’s a need for sort of trying to force the former into achieving a certain recognized or known status by reducing other films merits. However, if you don’t like those other movies then that’s fine.

i agree with this sentiment wholeheartedly, but on the other hand the idea that award hoarding films do in fact tend to go under the radar after the fact isnt so far fetched, remember the artist ? hurt locker, kings speech etc, they dont at least in my mind, jump out as instant classics as do some of the other competing films.

Tenet won best sci/fi fantasy score from Hollywood Music in Media Award.
Bodes well for a potential Oscar nomination.

Golden Globes noms are out this Wed, but I don't expect to see Tenet except for maybe a Best score nomination.

Should be an easy win for the Swedish GOAT

i would expect at least a production desing nod, and a cinematography one, apart from best score.
