the sound absolutely perfect here - The Drive-In at Enfield, London. They did such a good job handling it. They put a projection screen over their LED setup and a cinema projector for this and other future big films I presume. Not only the score not ruined but they worked really hard to boost the dialogue too. As clear as possible.
Did it use an FM radio signal?

Yup and the same theatrical DCP and audio mix source but they handled it really really well, sounding as clear as it can over FM.

Saw it at a Drive-in. I felt good bc my girlfriend and I were both safe and the picture quality was great. The sound however was horrific. Crazy amounts of clipping to an almost nauseating degree. Somehow I was still able to understand most of the audio though, so it was not all bad. Still had a very good time, just certain sequences made me scared for my car speakers lol

Hmm, I wonder which is better between West Wind and Sac-6. I haven't been to either before, and they're both nearby me. I'm considering this for my second viewing before the IMAX theaters open up in California (and I mean real IMAX).

EDIT: I just found out that West Wind is Sac-6. Oi vey.

I ended up seeing it in theaters during the previews as I found a theater that was empty (ended up having about 6 other people there). I felt safe.

But I also went to a drive in screening last Saturday. It was my first time at a drive in. Cool experience. Place was packed. We got there about an hour before showtime but we still were at about the backrow (We took 2 cars and wanted to be together). I think if we were closer to the screen, just even 2 rows, it would have been a pretty great experience. The sound was actually very good. I felt like I could make out more dialogue at the drive in than at the theater. The scene in particular is the scene
at the end where Branagh is talking to JDW over the radio at the end
. That scene I could barely make out in theaters, but I felt like I grasped more at the drive in. So yeah, Audio good. Picture quality and screen size was good, but sadly we were really far back so it definitely wasn't the most immersive experience
