Honest guess - WB stepped in. They clearly don't want that F4 piece screening anywhere. Feel there's a reason none of the BTS featurette film footage is actually new too.
Trailer #4/Inception Re-Release Footage
Frankly impressed how close to the vest they're playing this. Whereas most studios/filmmakers would be tempted to give more and more away, WB/Nolan are doubling down. Obviously Nolan is probably 90% of this but still.

I mean isn't WB who promised these new footages in the first place? They decided to hold back for 1 more week?
im guessing the 4 minute long TENET preview, not the 8 minute behind the scenes featurette that has leaked recently .
Changes their minds it seems for whatever reason. Cold feet about revealing more?
How come some people on twitter said they have seen it already then?antovolk wrote: ↑August 12th, 2020, 6:30 pmChanges their minds it seems for whatever reason. Cold feet about revealing more?

Sure, they might believe that the premiere being only 2 weeks out, they'd be no reason to show more footage.antovolk wrote: ↑August 12th, 2020, 6:30 pmChanges their minds it seems for whatever reason. Cold feet about revealing more?

maybe their business research figured out that releasing more footages won't increase box office by much in this crisis.El Especial wrote: ↑August 12th, 2020, 7:03 pmSure, they might believe that the premiere being only 2 weeks out, they'd be no reason to show more footage.
TBH, the people that are gonna watch Tenet are mostly Nolan fans.
