Making this as per user request. Rules still apply, please don’t just dump shit here without properly tagging your posts.

Nothing here can be confirmed nor denied until after the premiere, so take everything with a grain of salt. Probably shouldn’t even say this, but those not very keen on spoilers, just... don’t visit this thread. Or you know, proceed with caution.

I find the shot, where JDW's wearing a mask and the door opens very interesting now. I'm still pretty sure that's Pattinson in the mirror. I could live with the idea that he was the one who brought JDW in, but now the trailer suggests he came in later. Because of the angle of his arms I think he's tied up, but Pattinson seems to move freely, which suggests they are at opposite sides at that moment. Many people had speculations that he eventually turns out to be a villain, as a double agent, but he can be a double-double agent as well, so who knows.

Please do NOT open if you don't want any potential spoilers. You've been warned!
I compared the 'Plane crash TV Spot', Trailer 2 and Trailer 3, and found something interesting. Tell me what you think.

Is the guy in the tactical outfit a clone of JDW?

Same Glock 17 with threaded barrel: https://imgur.com/a/ieEm1Iz
Cable matching: https://imgur.com/a/hUMcZt4
Same skintone as JDW's stunt double??: https://imgur.com/a/FgDFZZy
I actually tried to find a mistake in that, but I couldn't.

I've been asking myself this question for a day now: Why would JDW shoot himself though? is he an evil clone or something?

I can imagine a storyline now.
So the future sends back the information that Branaghov is responsible for the cataclysm, and the priority is to stop him, so they send their best spy (JDW) to figure out what is going on and they let him use the inversion. But a plot twist can be that Branaghov has never known about the inversion, but his men find out JDW uses it. So, JDW is responsible for Branaghov gathering the technology. So he thinks the best way to avoid it to invert, then kill himself, so he'll never be able to accidentally pass the technology to Branaghov.

Whoa, good find. Entirely possible that it's an
evil clone or duplicate of some sort. Nolan seems to have been obsessed with symmetry/opposites (like with the original TENET logo with the flipped E, and the poster of JDW split diagonally).

I think when they were location scouting Estonia, I remember reading something about Nolan wanting a specific type of architecture. Maybe for the imagery of symmetry and mirror opposites?

Also, JDW said in the Fortnite interview that he was surprised at certain things that made it into the trailer :o
But then again, (spoiler from the prologue, if you haven't seen that)...
Why would he (possibly evil JDW) save good JDW's life?

That sounds like plausible Nolan sci-fi bond.
Also, in trailer #2, we see JDW wearing a suit in the black car. In the previous trailer, isn't that another shot of another guy (clearly not JDW) sitting in the same car with gas mask on?

About the prologue part: Because that isn't him behind that outfit. Compare the outfit with the prologue and the trailer/tv spot. Look at the helmet and the mask. It doesn't match.

Maybe JDW took the glock after he defeated the SWAT guy? It may not be a clone. If it is, then Nolan must have lost touch a bit because it's similar to The Prestige.

Also, if there's no time travelling and only inversion, then there shouldn't be a clone? Unless the blue-red light machine is a cloning machine?
