Great sound goes some ways with a Nolan movie.

And I will in all likelihood be seeing this at Navy Pier IMAX.

I have a compromised immune system more or less, but I'll probably go when it's a cleared out day with very few people in attendance. It sucks, but not going would be like not drinking water in the desert.

Is there any IMAX Theater in Brisbane? Is anybody currently living in Brisbane?
Brisbane, Australia? No. The "IMAX" theatre at Southbank is no longer an IMAX and doesn't have the screen or projector anymore - just the IMAX sign.
Thanks man. Then what will be the next best place to watch Tenet in Brisbane?

No. However, Palace Centro will be showing it in 70mm.
Thanks Mate.

I'll be at Navy Pier for sure and I will take the drive down to Indianapolis to see the movie on the super big IMAX there.

Like Dunkirk, most of my shows will probably be at the Music Box in 70mm
There’s a super big IMAX there? I live in St. Louis so I might have to do that as well

Either you go to an actual 70mm film theatre or you don't (4K is vastly inferior).

Not sure how it'll play out for me but here's a forbes article where vice president of IMAX says film is just better than digital.

I think the next best thing will be when they release 8k home video which won't be anytime soon.
chek your privilege

Have you heard any theatre calling themselves HDR theatre? I haven't.
Dolby theaters do.

Also: The Indianapolis IMAX looks amazing, but the sound system is garbage. It's very "tinny" with blown out base and absolutely no clarity to the sound. I had the pleasure of touring the IMAX booth there, though. It was great.

I remember I was sitting a row or two behind you for Dunkirk and after the screening you went and made a complaint about the sound
