For those wondering (and who hasn't seen the film yet like myself) - 50% of the film is IMAX footage. From an interview with David Keighley happening right now http://cjcinemasummit.com/
Edit: Esquire Sacramento, Citywalk LA, Metreon SF and Lincoln Sq NY *will* get 70mm IMAX prints when they reopen

So excluding credits, the movie is probably around 140 minutes total. That would put the IMAX footage at about 70 minutes.

I’m in Los Angeles. I won’t go until theatres reopen here. I’m not going to travel. It will be tough avoiding the spoilers I think. Once it reopens I will try to go to one of the nice Hollywood theatres.
Not that it's a great alternative, but for the sake of spoiler avoidance, are you willing to take a hit in overall theatrical experience to check it out at a drive-in?
Although I'm going to see it in Reno next week, I'd like to give the drive-in a shot later when I catch it a second time before California starts opening everything up, since that might not be until October.
I'd personally go to a drive-in for first viewing if WB wouldn't be restrict about it. Seems like they only allow it if the regular theaters are open too, but maybe by tomorrow or next week they change their mind like they did for early releasing.
I wonder if OC county will open their theaters soon as well since now they're not under the state monitor and going to reopen their schools. If Irvine brings it, I might go, I would have to go in a special gear lol

Hmm, well after seeing a couple of articles earlier about drive-ins, I found out that Sacramento has one and it's showing movies now (The New Mutants, Unhinged, etc.). I think the idea was they weren't going to open drive-in theaters that are adjacent to other closed interior locations/theaters, or something like that. I can't really remember what that one tweet said.

That tweet makes zero sense because non of the drive in in LA area I know have "closed interior". This is the article/news I'm referring to:
Booked my tickets for next Friday at the Bullock IMAX theater, which is only about a ten-minute drive from where I live in Austin. Finally got an email from them this morning about reopening after I was considering driving to San Antonio to see it.
Release tickets are available now? Not just pre-release?
The Bullock IMAX has showtimes available to purchase tickets for starting on September 3rd while AMC and Regal theaters in my area offer them earlier on August 31st.
I usually go to the Universal city walk or Ontario Edwards IMAX theaters for Nolan's films, but considering going over to Las Vegas AMC Town Square to watch Tenet. Anyone know the best row for the IMAX theater there? Would really appreciate the help if anyone's been to that auditorium there before. The screen is a little smaller than the usual IMAX theaters, so it's quite difficult to assess which row would be the best, since I would probably want to sit closer than usual to compensate.
