I know inception was not shot in imax. Their screen is a 1.9 aspect ratio screen, I was there last week. It's not physically possible for a 1.43 aspect ratio to be shown at that theater
Then why install a Dual Laser? Employee get it wrong? I just noticed the early access screenings are basically sold out, and I'm moving to NC next week, but I'm wondering if this is going to be my best bet and driving back or finding another location 7+ hours away. I'm shocked how few actual true 1.43 laser IMAX locations there are. I thought it'd be a lot easy to find. HAH!
Ooh, I just realized the showing I'm booked for (Regal Red Rock IMAX) has "Closed Caption" on it. Might try to get one of those devices to understand the dialogue better.
they're already on sale at some theaters, I just bought out 85% of an IMAX for the 3rd.

Is that the earliest you'll get to see it? No press screening or anything?
I haven't been writing enough to score press screenings for a minute, but Tenet press screenings are ultra-selective anyway. Ruffling some feathers with P&I typically invited but weren't this. Unless you write for a major pub or do junkets, you're out.
