the HDR conversion is horrible, which I'm sure is the version you're watching. The SDR is perfect

I love it when HDR conversions consist purely of bringing exposure down 5 stops, but yes the SDR version is perfect.

What is the difference between SDR and HDR and does SDR always tend to be better?

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I just bought a "HDR-ready" TV, but doesn't HDR require a specific picture mode to be selected for proper viewing? So unless you're watching it on an appropriate device, you will think it looks like shit. But I might be wrong, as I tried to watch the HDR version of this trailer on my TV, and I couldn't make it work :D
