So will be there 4th delay for Tenet as the new Hollywoord reported posted something like new film release changes?antovolk wrote: ↑August 11th, 2020, 9:55 amYup, will be surprised if notTarssauce wrote: ↑August 11th, 2020, 9:21 amRemember how early on there were talks about Tenet being played on several screens within one theater complex, do you guys think they will go forward with that?
Obviously in bigger complexes they will play the movie in various formats: Standard 2D, 4K, IMAX, Dolby Vision (no Atmos), 4Dx and in certain cities you have the film formats 35mm and 70mm.
But in a complex with only 2D screens - will it get more than one screen? Curious to see how this will pan out.

Wow, fifty whole dollars! That could buy Nolan a... a... achoo!
There may be other factors that I'm not considering, but Interstellar has grossed $111M in China (not sure if this includes the 2.84M made recently from the re-release) so this is good. What's even crazier is that with the few re-releases it's had, Interstellar's worldwide box office is nearing $700M ($699,595,304 to be exact) so it's not too far from Inception's numbers.
I guess it would be a no brainer for theaters that are opening back up with Tenet. I’m just wondering how our theaters will handle this. Most complexes here are small so the number of screens is quite limited. And they have been playing a variety of older films and some new foreign films as well.
Not in the US for sure.

UK Cinemas Begin Selling Tickets For ‘Tenet’; Vue To Reopen All Sites In Time For Nolan Pic
UK cinemas have officially begun selling tickets for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, as of midnight today local time.
The movie is being heralded as the saviour of the big screen and exhibitors have nervously been monitoring the situation following several dates shifts which have seen it move later and later in the summer as the pandemic continues to disrupt the entire film ecosystem.
Yep, Distributor Village Roadshow has confirmed that screenings of #TENET will occur in Australian cinemas (excl. Victoria) the weekend before its official release, on Saturday August 22 and Sunday August 23.Dragon_316ca wrote: ↑August 11th, 2020, 10:00 pmLooks like Australia getting early screenings as well.
So realistically there will be spoilers by August 21st ( due to timezone differences for you guys in US)
