It's the bloody Americans fault us worldwide done our bit
Ah well, worth the try I suppose. I imagine Chris will take as much time off as needed before theaters return to normal numbers in the next few years. I don’t see him making films for Netflix anytime soon.

It was an impossible situation.
In USA, right? So, not a surprise. It's a dead end. But I still think it was the best decision (TENET in 2020).
2021 is also no guarantee of anything. There will be people who will not return to cinemas even with the vaccine available. There will be people who during this pandemic realized that they do not need to leave the house to see the films.
Also imagine the scenario... several 2020 films postponed to 2021... full schedules ... one film "cannibalizing" the other. I don't think we will have a normal box office situation in mid-2022 (being optimistic).
Indeed. I hope he works on a screenplay for a shoot in late 2021 or early 2022.ChristNolan wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2020, 8:32 pmAh well, worth the try I suppose. Also with the recent development of COVID worldwide there is only a matter of time before most theaters are closed again. Tenet will have to move to digital to make back its money.

Autopsy? okay.
So let's discuss top ten reasons why this happened (or hasn't happened yet)
I will begin this
1. Film was released in theatres amid global pandemic.
(2. to 10. to be added by other members)

2. When customers asked "Can I see Tenant?" They went and got the dweller that lives in the theater's projection room closet instead of giving them a movie ticket to see Tenet.blackColumn wrote: ↑September 25th, 2020, 4:27 amAutopsy? okay.
