Disney had no problem opening Big Hero 6 on the same weekend as Interstellar, and look how that turned out.El Especial wrote: ↑August 5th, 2020, 6:45 pmThree years ago a man named Luc Besson attempted to go up against Nolan and refused to move his film from the same July 21st release date.
That did not end well for him.

It’s extremely funny to me the way TENET’s poster is revealed.
but hes not our hero, but one very much need right now.
I'm assuming it's refrence Scorsese saying that Marvel movies aren't cinema...bringing the wrath of marvel fanboys down on him, and also in a sideways sort of way shitting on Disney.

https://deadline.com/2020/08/china-1917 ... 203007208/Interstellar, for its part, rode from Sunday through Thursday at No. 1, and has cumed $8.24M in the re-release. As we wrote yesterday, Nolan’s Inception is having its 10th anniversary resissue in China on August 28, followed by his Tenet, the first major new tentpole of 2020 since the pandemic began. Tenet goes on September 4 in the Middle Kingdom after beginning offshore rollout on August 26. Coronavirus-imposed capacity and screening limits are still likely to be in place in China, though perhaps somewhat less stringently. Tenet was shot with IMAX cameras and almost all IMAX screens there are expected to be open by the time the movie hits theaters. This is good news.
First US public screenings could be as early as Monday the 31st
