To Vader's point, I think that is the stance the second largest theater chain is taking as well.
Publicly anyway...obviously it’s kinda foolhardy to announce anything without knowing for sure when major cities are back online.
But from that IndieWire Zoom thing, Paramount’s Aronson is saying the word is basically everyone is hoping for and planning to begin late June phased reopenings in time to be fully up for Tenet. The commercial sector certainly. Indies is an entirely different thing...there was a survey earlier this week from here in the UK, despite government allowing for reopening so from July 4 currently, most won’t be prepared to open until September because of safety measures cost concerns and audience for many being the more at risk demographic. (Which appears to be causing a bit of a civil war of words here)

Excellent !!Cineworld anticipates that government restrictions related to cinemas will be lifted in each of its territories by July and "anticipates the reopening of all of its cinemas in July." It said it "has put in place procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable cinema experience for its employees and customers."

this is indeed good news
The NBA and NHL are making serious progress on coming back. The NHL has already agreed on a plan and is looking at deciding host cities.
