Fan Sighting in Budapest in mid February.
Possible shooting location?
Jonah said he was scout locating around that time in his VES acceptance speech.
Budapest in February, Croatia in August... maybe Eastern Europe will have an important role.
Croatia is a great place for... holidays also. And Hungary is a great place to shoot. Villeneuve is already shooting Dune there. And Hungary has welcomed lots of shootings, because they have a long experience in film production and it cost less to shoot there than in Pinewood, LA... Usually, Nolan shoots in LA the studio part, if he decides to shoot in Hungary, which is the most likely interpretation of the tweet imo, it means he's really saving every penny... to put as much as possible on the screen!
He really wants to blow us away !!
Ok now I suddenly have this feeling that it will be some kind of modern take/approach inspired by North by Northwest !! This idea of a lot of shooting locations all around different places etc... It will be a big cinematic travel !!
And Dunkirk already had an Hitchcokian feeling so now I think it will even more strip down his style and work.
And it sticks absolutely with this idea of showmanship which he talked about, of this idea of bringing new fresh ideas, proposing new cinematic experience, new cinematic travel for audiences (give them a reason to leave the house !), he will purify his work even more by finding again a new sort of compromise between new cinematic challenges, new story developments challenges and his regular themes (the idea of time etc...)
I believe this project will have something really special, a new turning point in his filmography/work.
He really wants to mark audience by embarking it to a amazing experience. (and don't forget the "IMAX").
So yess, now I believe in this "North by Northwest in tone" description, Hitchcock after all was the master of suspens and the movie was at the origins of blockbusters.
But make sure of one thing, it will be Nolan-ish, Nolan is not Hitchcock.
New Nolan's masterfully suspensful drama thriller incoming :gonf: :gonf: :gonf:

Nice finds!

So who will play the star couple in this film since the romantic thriller rumor was clearly true? Ryan Gosling and.... ? can't be Emma Stone sadly.
Andrew Garfield and Ryan Gosling in this project and Amanda Seyfried or Kelly Reilly for the female lead (their schedules are free), you'd read here first.
What about Evan Rachel Wood? Will she be filming Westworld?

And I think I also have my own idea about the "meets Inception" thing, because what Inception talks about ? When you think about it, it's the story of a man who have to escape his own demons, who is in a constant runaway with a group of individus who're tracking him, he's escaping something, all things considered sounds a little bit like Carry Grant's characters in North by Norwest. So I think that what Nolan is preparing is something original and new, a big adventurous and suspensful thriller excecuted in a new way with new directing ideas etc...
And that's explains maybe, what Demoph said, if he's in Studios in Budapest he wants to create/reproduce a lot of spaces/action peaces (like Hitchcock did at his time in fact).
Guys, I think Christopher Nolan next movie will be totally insane !! I think he'll tell a enormous and ambitious manhunt story.

Fuck! I'm already imagining the insane visuals/set pieces shoot on film by Hoytema !

Romantic thriller, "North by Northwest meet Inception", it really look like Reminiscence...fortunately Lisa Joy has been confirmed to direct it.
