Sorry guys if I look stupid but what does he mean by "length of three movies" ?

I don't know one way or the other about Interstellar, but I doubt that TDK was. For one, it didn't push it right to the max of 167 minutes (it was close of course at 165). For another, the novelization is essentially the shooting script (not essentially, it is), and didn't add more than a couple lines sprinkled here and there. Everyone talks about Bane training or whatever, but that is literally probably seven seconds worth of footage, according to how the script talked about it.
No one knows, really. It could be idea behind the original draft length, or as somebody mentioned it could be the shooting schedule. Obviously he is exaggerating, because it's not like the script is over 300 pages long.
Welcome! And please do find more articles like this! Good job. It wasn't so much info but it started the hype-train with mesenseandsarcasm wrote: ↑April 8th, 2019, 9:17 amPattinson is doing promotion for his current movie, High Life, and he has mentioned the Nolan project a few times. This is a new quote from an interview for Gannett newspapers:
He also said during a Q&A last Thursday that the film started "next month". I am a Rob fan (I come in peace), so I will point out that in the fandom we joke about something called "Rob Math", which is his total inability to get dates and things like this correct and is a master of good natured exaggeration. I would take the "length of three movies" with a huge grain of salt. I'm guessing something along the lines of "it's really long" ... and "I'm starting to shoot soon" instead of precise lengths/dates.Working with these important directors makes you feel more secure in the choices you're making. Like, I'm doing a big movie with Christopher Nolan after this. It's the craziest thing I've seen in years. It's the length of three movies.

It must be something really audacious in any case, even if it's still very unclear regarding Rob's quote. (yeah he can just exaggerating by saying that it's a very long movie)MuffinMcFluffin wrote: ↑April 8th, 2019, 11:21 amNo one knows, really. Maybe he was misquoted and meant it was the "epic scale of three movies," kind of like how The Dark Knight Rises was. Kevin Smith described TDKR as "a superhero movie, disaster movie, and a war movie all wrapped in one." He's not wrong, but it didn't play out like that as much on paper as it did thematically.
@Angus -- Your "achieve one goal" bit gave me chills before you edited it out. That would be on an Inception level, for sure.
